Applebarn Farmhouse Restaurant has been in business since 1986 so you know it has some very good country cooking. Chrissy’s favorite at the Applebarn is the Applewood Famous Southern Fried Chicken. The Applebarn will give you four pieces of chicken, either a Vegetable Soup, a Wedge Salad, or Broccoli Cheddar Soup with Mashed Potatoes, one side, and a selection of a dessert so it is a huge meal. I like to get the Tender Slow Roasted Pot Roast, Momma’s Country Meatloaf, or the Chicken Cordon Bleu. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. We also love going to the pie bar with getting a scoop of ice cream on top of our apple pie with a glass of frozen apple cider.
